Producers of greenhouse cucumbers in Ukraine have raised their wholesale prices this week, according to analysts from the EastFruit project. Currently, the cost of these vegetables is already twice as high as it was during the same period last year.
At present, Ukrainian greenhouse complexes are declaring cucumber prices in the range of 45-60 UAH/kg ($1.09-1.46/kg), which is on average 12% higher than the prices at the end of last week.

As a result, greenhouse cucumbers in the Ukrainian market today are on average twice as expensive as during the same period last year. Moreover, many market players do not rule out the possibility of further price increases due to active demand.
