Sheep feast on high-quality onions as demand plummets in Central Asia (video)

The Central Asian onion market is facing an ongoing crisis, according to EastFruit. A video posted by Arsen Islamoff on Facebook reveals how a farmer resorts to feeding his sheep with high-quality onions. The video, recorded by another grower, shows “clean, golden” onions being wasted. Another person dumps a trailer full of onions in the nets onto the ground.
