Although radishes are particularly well consumed on sunny days, is not at all dissatisfied with current radish sales. “Demand has actually gone through very well. After the midsummer celebrations in Scandinavia, we saw a small price dip for a while. But now the market has returned to a nice level.”

Jongfresh supplies red, white, purple and white-tip radishes, lilac, and a range of combinations year-round, FreshPlaza informs. The latest specialty added to the range is the so-called graffiti radish. “We are constantly expanding to surprise our customers. This spotted graffiti radish is still a relatively small item, and we do produce too many yet, but we see a good demand from the market. We are first marketing this speciality within hospitality-related buyers. This is often a stepping stone for wholesalers and retailers to start working with these novelties.”
