Moldovan company RoDo launched production line of fruit snacks

At the end of last year, Nisvinex Grup SRL (Shishcani village, Nisporeni district) launched fruit snacks under its own brand Ro Do – Roada Domnească (Tsar’s Harvest). Currently, the Ro Do range consists of five products: red and green apple chips, pitted dried plums, prunes and chocolate-covered apple rings. The company will replenish it with apple crackers, compote sets, and possibly pear chips in the future. The equipment’s capacity allows 8,000-10,000 bags (40-200 grams) per day, millions of bags per season.

The Nisvinex Grup company cultivates more than 35 hectares of intensive apple and plum orchards planted in 2011-2013 and will renew them soon. Also, the company rents 200 hectares of Moldovan table grapes. Over the past few years, the company has built a refrigeration complex with a capacity of more than 3,000 tons of simultaneous storage. Currently, they install equipment for chambers with a controlled gas atmosphere. The company also has lines for drying apples and plums, peeling fruits, removing seed chambers and seeds, sorting and packing products.

The company management plans to process almost the entire volume of the 2020 fruit harvest, stored in refrigerators, into the Ro Do range of products. They are sold in Moldovan supermarket chains (Metro, Linella, and soon – Kaufland) and exported to Romania and Bulgaria.

The company is certified according to ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 22000: 2018, FSSC and GLOBALG.A.P standards.
