Lemon exports from Uzbekistan decreased by 362 tonnes in 10 months

The export of lemons from Uzbekistan has decreased. According to the State Statistics Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the country exported 3 300 tonnes of lemons worth $3.6 million to 8 countries in January-October 2022.

Lemon exports decreased by 362 tonnes compared to the same period last year, Kun.uz reports.

Countries to which Uzbekistan exported the most lemons in 10 months of 2022:

Russia – 2 200 tonnes,

Kazakhstan – 759 tonnes,

Kyrgyzstan – 392 tonnes.

Leading regions of Uzbekistan in terms of lemon exports:

Fergana region – 1 400 tonnes,

Khorezm region – 528 tonnes,

Tashkent region – 464 tonnes,

Namangan region – 258 tonnes.
