Agrohub is developing a farm-to-table retail concept

Agrohub opens a new branch – a modern complex, which will open in Tbilisi, on Zviad Gamsakhurdia embankment N80, in early 2024, reports EastFruit with reference to Business Insider Georgia. This will be the fourth store of the premium retail chain in Tbilisi.

As the company told Business Insider Georgia, the branch stands out both visually and functionally. In addition to the traditional focus on food retailing, customers will also be able to enjoy a restaurant where they will have the opportunity to try both Georgian and European cuisine, which will be located on the top floor of the building, with indoor and outdoor terraces and great views.

“The architects have visually created a building that will be stylistically best adapted to the specific location, a modern, creative architectural example that both the local and tourist segments will remember. More than 150 parking spaces await customers at the new branch, making the visit even more convenient. As for Agrohub’s core business, the new branch, like the others, will be supplied daily with fresh, healthy, and natural products from Agrohub’s central warehouse, farms, and greenhouses,” the company says. More than 300 new employees will be employed in the new branch. In addition, Agrohub continues to develop and add new branches both in Tbilisi and in the regions.

The area of the sales area is 2000 square meters, as well as auxiliary warehouse and internal production premises also 2000 square meters.

The project’s investment cost is 20 million GEL ($7.5 mln).

“We are constantly responding to customer requests and glad that now we will be able to welcome fans of Agrohub products at the new location,” Agrohub said.

We would like to note that according to the results of the last audit of retail chains (July 2023), which EastFruit project conducts quarterly, the Agrohub chain became the rating leader.
