Weak demand for apples and an increase in the supply of autumn apple varieties are forcing Ukrainian growers to once again reduce selling prices in this segment, according to analysts at EastFruit.
Currently, high-quality apples are offered for sale at UAH 15-25/kg ($0.34-0.56/kg), which is on average 20% lower than at the end of the previous working week.
At present, the market is mainly supplied with autumn apple varieties that are not suitable for long-term storage. Therefore, growers are seeking to sell their produce as quickly as possible and are lowering their selling prices accordingly.

It is worth noting that apples from the new harvest are currently being sold in Ukraine at prices that are on average 44% lower than at the end of August 2025.
