After three consecutive weeks of price increases for white cabbage on the Ukrainian market, prices in this segment have started to decline, according to analysts at the EastFruit project.
In particular, Ukrainian farmers are increasingly being forced to lower cabbage prices amid abundant supply and relatively weak demand. Since the end of last week alone, prices for this product have fallen by an average of 16%. Currently, white cabbage is being offered for sale at UAH 13–22/kg ($0.29–0.49/kg), depending on quality and lot size.

According to producers, they are being forced to reduce prices primarily due to restrained demand. Wholesale companies and retail chains are purchasing cabbage only in small volumes for current sales, citing low consumer interest. In addition, increasing market supply is putting further pressure on prices, as the majority of farms have already begun harvesting mid-season cabbage varieties.
It should be noted that despite the recent decline, the average price of white cabbage in Ukraine remains 20% higher than at the beginning of July 2025.
