Prices for early cabbage in Ukraine continue to decline rapidly, according to analysts at the EastFruit project. As before, industry experts attribute the downward price trend in this segment to the seasonal increase in supply of these vegetables from local farms. At the same time, sales rates in this market segment remain relatively restrained.
According to experts, there are several reasons for the price decline. Firstly, after a period of heavy rains with thunderstorms and hail, the weather has stabilized across most of the country, which has led to an increase in the supply of 2026 harvest cabbage on the domestic market. Secondly, the quality of this produce does not always satisfy end consumers, which also puts additional pressure on prices in this segment.
As a result, today most producers offer early cabbage for sale at UAH 11–18/kg ($0.25–0.41/kg), which is on average 22% lower than a week earlier.

It is worth noting that currently early cabbage on the Ukrainian market is already being shipped at prices that are on average 16% lower than at the beginning of June 2025.
