This week, the Ukrainian market is showing a downward trend in greenhouse cucumber prices, according to analysts from the EastFruit project. Experts say that the latest price decline at the beginning of June is a typical seasonal trend driven by an increase in the supply of vegetables from summer greenhouses.
As of today, Ukrainian greenhouse producers are selling cucumbers at UAH 35–65/kg ($0.79–1.47/kg), which is on average 17% lower than a week earlier. According to project analysts, the price decrease is mainly due to seasonal factors, as the supply of these vegetables from local farms has begun to grow.
According to representatives of greenhouse complexes, the main reason for the price drop is the substantial supply of cucumbers from summer greenhouses in the southern regions, which are entering the market at an average price of UAH 25/kg ($0.56/kg).

However, it should be noted that despite the recent price decline, cucumber shipments from Ukrainian producers are still on average 17% higher than in early June 2025.
