A new industrial park, BUCHA TECHNO GARDEN II, is set to be developed in the village of Myrotske, Bucha district, Kyiv region. Fruit and vegetable processing and preservation will be among its key areas of specialization, SEEDS reports.
The park will also focus on manufacturing specialized machinery and equipment, according to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
“The park is focused on fruit and vegetable processing — a sector in which Ukraine has both a strong raw material base and solid demand. The creation of 378 jobs in Myrotske is a tangible outcome that the local community will begin to see in the coming years,” said Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Vitalii Kindrativ.
BUCHA TECHNO GARDEN II will cover 12.5978 hectares and is being established for a period of 30 years.
Locating processing facilities close to production areas will enable local fruit, vegetable and berry growers to reduce logistics costs and gain access to a stable sales channel near their farms. In addition to processing operations, the park is expected to accommodate manufacturers of specialized machinery and equipment.

Total planned investment in the project amounts to UAH 710.2 million. Funding is expected to come from the initiators, the park’s management company and future participants. The project may also benefit from state incentives available under Ukraine’s policy to support domestic producers.
Once operational, the industrial park is expected to create 378 new jobs in Kyiv region’s processing sector.
