Tropical Watermelon, Sweet Palermo mix and Crunchy Snack Lettuce all awarded maximum three stars by prestigious taste authority ITQI
Three products from Dutch fruit and vegetable breeding company Rijk Zwaan have been recognised by the International Taste Quality Institute (ITQI).
According Fruitnet, the group submitted its Tropical Watermelon, Sweet Palermo mix and Crunchy Snack Lettuce to the ITQI this year, with all three awarded the maximum three-star Superior Taste Award.
Tropical Watermelon is described as a seedless watermelon with yellow flesh and a summery sweet taste.

Finally, the group’s Crunchy Snack Lettuce is described as being a crunchy fresh lettuce with a full flavour.
