New yellow carrot program launches

BDA/Dorot Farm is launching its new yellow carrot program, supplied directly from the company’s premium farms, FreshPlaza informs.

“Yellow carrots have become trendy, and we’ve received many requests for a program that ensures year-round availability,” said Ami Ben-Dror, CEO of BDA/Dorot Farm, which is headquartered in New York. “Yellow carrots offer a unique flavor and are highly demanded by high-end restaurants and chefs specializing in diverse cuisines.”

The new yellow carrots will be available in 25 lb. and 50 lb. packs for foodservice and fresh-cut use, as well as 5 lb. and 2 lb. retail bags for supermarket chains.

As always, The NY Produce Show is a showcase for the company’s new products and it will be there to present customers the new crop for the upcoming season. “The new crop looks good. I’m very happy with the fields’ conditions,” says Ben-Dror.

This new line joins the company’s successful rainbow carrot program, and jumbo and cello carrot programs, already featured in many restaurants and gourmet kitchens.

“Our vision is to stay ahead of market trends and continuously meet the needs of our customers,” added Ben-Dror.

BDA/Dorot Farm exports fresh and sweet carrots to North America, Europe and Africa.
