In Ukraine, more and more blueberry producers receive GLOBALG.A.P certification

In Ukraine, the number of blueberry producers with GLOBALG.A.P. certificates increases, reports SEEDS portal with reference to Fruit Project consulting agency. GLOBALG.A.P. certificate expands both the export opportunities for producers and the number of consumers.

In 2020, 10 Ukrainian blueberry producers received their GLOBALG.A.P. certificates: Betek LLC, Nikdaria LLC, Grass Avenue FH, Ukrainian Berry LLC, Blue Berry LLC, Artel No. 1 LLC, Weisberry LLC, Family Garden LLC, Yahidki Farm, and Ecopark LLC. To compare, in 2016, there were only 4 of them.

Nevertheless, Ukraine still has room for improvement. For example, as of July 2020, in Poland, there were 384 GLOBALG.A.P. certified blueberry manufacturers, in Spain – 853, and in Chile – 1094.

“GLOBALG.A.P certification is a pass to the European Union retail chains”, Fruit Project stressed.
