Prices for greenhouse cucumbers in Ukraine continue to decline rapidly. At present, Ukrainian greenhouse producers are shipping this product at prices significantly lower than during the same period last year. This was reported by analysts from the EastFruit project. Market participants note that the main factor strengthening the downward price trend is a seasonal increase in supply combined with relatively weak demand.
Currently, greenhouse cucumbers are sold at 30–60 UAH/kg ($0.68–1.37/kg), which is on average 20% lower than at the end of the previous working week. According to market operators, several factors have contributed to the current situation. First, harvest volumes at greenhouse enterprises remain stable and sufficiently high, which has led to a noticeable increase in market supply. At the same time, demand for cucumbers has weakened significantly compared to the previous week.
As a result, sellers have been forced to further reduce their asking prices in order to stimulate sales and prevent the accumulation of large volumes of unsold produce in warehouses.

It should also be noted that greenhouse cucumbers in Ukraine are currently sold at prices that are, on average, 30% lower than at the beginning of May 2025. Meanwhile, producers do not rule out further price declines in this segment if current sales rates persist.
