Blueberry prices in Ukraine continue to decline rapidly, according to analysts at EastFruit. Key market players note that such price drops during this period are typical, as it coincides with the active harvest season, resulting in increased supply on the market.
According to EastFruit’s daily market monitoring data, blueberry prices in Ukrainian farms have fallen by an average of 25% since the end of last week. Currently, growers are selling blueberries at 220-380 UAH/kg ($5.26-9.08/kg), while just a week ago, they were unwilling to ship blueberries for less than 300 UAH/kg ($7.17/kg).

However, blueberry prices in Ukraine today are still about 2.6 times higher compared to the same period last year. Key market participants attribute this significant price difference to a substantial reduction in blueberry yields in Ukrainian farms, caused by abnormal weather conditions during the ripening period.
