Trade mission of importers from Eastern Europe and Central Asia to Egypt

The EastFruit team is announcing a selection process for fruit and vegetable importers and supermarket chain buyers from Poland, Romania, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan to join a free trip to Food Africa exhibition in Cairo, Egypt, from December 3rd to 5th, 2024, to negotiate with the country’s leading exporters.

To participate in the free trip, you must register via the provided link. The trip is sponsored by the Egyptian government, and the EastFruit team, supported by the FAO/EBRD project “Food Security Package SEMED – Diversifying and adding value to export markets,” handles the selection process.

The event will feature negotiations with exporters, a visit to the largest food exhibition in North Africa, an export conference, and tours to local enterprises specializing in the cultivation and export of fruits and vegetables. The EastFruit team can select up to five participants from each country.

To apply, please complete the registration form. Applications are accepted until October 31st, 2024, but the registration may close earlier if five companies are selected before this date.
